CHINA STUDY SUMMER CAMP 2008
Summer Camp 2008 took place from June 27th through August 16th.
The GPB mbH Berlin and FORUM Berufsbildung e.V. have been active in the area of vocational training for years. Since 2004 we have had several projects and cooperation partners in China. One of our partners isZhaoqing Business and Technology College. This college is one of China's modern and internationally active colleges in the historic city of Zhaoqing University (Guangzhou Province). This year's summer camp will take place in collaboration with this partner.
Nowadays, the Chinese market is not only interesting for global companies, but also for students with international ambitions. For career planning it becomes increasingly important to gather international experience and contacts during the time at university. The Summer Camp - Meeting New Markets has been especially designed for this audience. It takes place in Zhaoqing and Shanghai (China). The focus of this camp is on gaining linguistic and international competences as well as getting in contact with local entrepreneurs. In addition, a framework ought to be created which enables students from Germany and China to establish contacts and exchange experience.
